And So it Begins

Hello. My name is Sheila. My husband, Freddie and I are in the process of trying to conceive (also known as TTC). I thought it would be cool to create a blog about this whole journey. In a way, we have just begun this process, and yet it has taken a long time to get here, so it feels like we have been at this point for a lifetime. Freddie and I have been married for almost 6 years. We dated for 2 years before we married. Soon after we married, we started talking about how we would love to have a baby. There was a problem with that... I couldn't have children. Let me back up. I already had 3 beautiful daughters who are now ages 20, 18, and 16 from a previous marriage. After the birth of my youngest daughter, Kayla, I had a tubal ligation. i had never regretted my decision to have my tubes tied until I saw how my husband treated my girls. He had so much love for them, that the desire to have a child with him began to flourish. So, we started praying. We found a doctor who specialized specifically in reversing tubals. His name is Dr.  William Greene and he is the surgeon at Lakeshore Surgical Center in Gaineesville, GA. The surgery wasn't cheap, but worth every penny that God blessed us with. We had the tubal reversal (TR) on 8-9-11. That was 16 days ago today. That brings us to this phase, TTC..... All In Due Time.
